Register for Remote Bidding

We offer a number of options when it comes to bidding in our Property Auctions. For our Multi-Lot Timed Auctions, you can register to bid online or by proxy, and for our Live Streamed Auctions, bidders can choose to bid online, by proxy bidding or on the telephone.

Our bidding registration process is operated by the Essential Information Group (EIG) and it’s really quick and simple. If you’ve previously downloaded a legal pack, then you’re likely to already have an Auction Passport account – the login you need to register to bid. If you don’t have this yet, don’t worry, you’ll be prompted to make one while registering.

Once logged into your Auction Passport account, you need to accept the terms and conditions, select your chosen method of bidding and provide your contact details, debit card details (only to be used to take a deposit if successful) and carry out an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) check.

We recommend you submit the registration form no later than 24 hours before your lots are being offered for sale.

Ways to Bid

There are several different ways to bid in our Live Streamed and Multi-Lot Timed Auctions.

Internet Bidding

You can watch the bidding from your phone, tablet or computer and click to bid when you’re ready to bid.

By Proxy

You authorise us to bid on your behalf. In our Live Streamed Auction, this is where the auctioneer will bid on your behalf, only increasing your bid in line with other bidding and only going up to your maximum if necessary. In our Multi-Lot Time Auctions, you provide us with your maximum bid, and our auction bidding software bids on your behalf when you’re outbid, up to your ceiling price.

On the Telephone

Only available for our Live Streamed Auctions, you bid over the phone by speaking to a member of our team in the auction studio. They will update you on progress and pass your bids to the auctioneer.

If you’re not ready to bid yet but you want to watch an auction you do not need to register to bid, you can simply view our auctions from our website on auction day. It’s free to watch, and you do not need to log in.

Bidding in a Single-Lot Timed Auction

If you wish to bid in our Single-Lot Timed Auctions you can do this by simply navigating to the individual property page and following the bidding actions on the page.
