Welcome to our May Auction Catalogue

Andrew Parker
Partner & Auctioneer

I'm delighted to introduce our latest auction catalogue, launched ahead of our May National Auction Event, taking place during the week commencing 26th May.

In this month's national property auction we have 300 residential properties, commercial premises, land and development opportunities for sale across our Multi-Lot Timed Auction and Live Stream Auction.

Online bidding for our Multi‑Lot Timed Auction opens with Lot 1 on Tuesday 26th May at 10:00am and closes at staggered intervals on Wednesday 27th May.

Our Live Stream Auction begins with Lot 101 at 9:00am on Thursday 28th May and will be streamed live on our website with bidding available online, on the phone and by proxy.

This month I'm looking forward to sharing the rostrum with Edward Feather, Graham Penny and Richard Worrall for our Live Stream Auction on Thursday 28th May.

We've boosted our nationwide team this month with two new senior level appointments. Richard Watson has joined us as Director based in our London Canary Wharf office and we've added another auctioneer to our team with the appointment of Lucy Crapper. Lucy joins us with almost two decades of auction experience, predominantly in Sheffield and South Yorkshire, and you'll see her take to the rostrum very soon. Not forgetting Adrian Little, another of our long-standing auctioneers, we now have a panel of six experienced property auctioneers ready with their gavels to sell any and all types of property.

You can view all the May lots here, and once you’ve found a property you’re interested in, it’s easy to book your viewing, download the legal pack and register to bid.

Understanding Legal Packs

Every auction property comes with a legal pack, which contains essential information about the property, including title documents, searches, and special conditions of sale. Buyers are strongly advised to have the legal pack reviewed by a solicitor before bidding. Once you win a bid, you are legally committed to the purchase, so understanding the legal details in advance is crucial.

Auction Day
How the Auction Works

Each property listing shows when it’s due to be sold. For Single-Lot Timed Auctions and Multi-Lot Timed Auctions a countdown panel displays the start time, or, if the auction has already begun, it shows how much time is left to place your bids. During a Live Stream Auction, you can watch the auction in real time and place your bids as each lot is offered, following the auctioneer’s progress just as if you were attending in person.

What is a reserve price?

A reserve price is the price stated as the lowest acceptable figure by the seller. This figure is confidential between the seller and auctioneer.
