BTG Eddisons Property Auctions is set to host a major live auction showcase at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane stadium on 24 June, coinciding with the launch of its first ever two-day live stream auction.

The event will offer invited guests a behind-the-scenes look at how a large-scale digital-first property auction operates, with attendees experiencing the pace and mechanics of an online live stream auction while networking with investors, clients and industry contacts from across the UK.

Auctioneer Adrian Little will be joined by Lucy Crapper, who joined the BTG Eddisons Property Auctions team earlier this month, on the rostrum to conduct bidding throughout the day.

From June, the business will move to a new monthly two-day live stream format, expanding its existing model to meet growing demand from buyers and sellers and increasing the volume of lots offered nationwide.

The move marks a significant operational development for BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, which currently offers around 400 residential, commercial, land and development lots each month across the UK.

Guests can attend the showcase in person and the auction itself will be live streamed, with bidding remotely from a national buyer audience via the internet, by proxy, on the telephone, and live in the auction room.

Andrew Parker, partner and auctioneer at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said: “This event is an opportunity to showcase our auctions and give clients and contacts genuine insight into how a major modern property auction business operates.

“The move to a two-day monthly live stream auction format reflects continued growth in demand from both buyers and sellers, as well as the increasing scale of our operation nationally.

“Our live stream model continues as normal, with bidding taking place remotely across a national audience of buyers, but hosting this event allows guests to experience first-hand the scale, pace and expertise involved in a large live auction.”

BTG Eddisons Property Auctions was formed through the integration of regional brands Pugh, SDL Property Auctions, Mark Jenkinson and Network Auctions, creating the UK’s second largest property auction business by volume of lots.
